This mailing list is for members of the Canadian Council of Professional Psychology Programs (CCPPP).

Members of CCPPP are the directors of training programs (internships, and doctoral and master's programs) in professional psychology.

Please read all of this information and keep it for future reference (e.g. by bookmarking this page or by saving your subscription confirmation in an e-mail folder).

Messages sent to ccppp-list@ccppp.ca will be distributed to all members of the list. The list is intended primarily for announcements, interesting ideas in professional psychology training, and discussion of policy questions. It should not be used for discussion of confidential individual issues.

The list is unmoderated, meaning that nobody checks messages before they are distributed. Please check your messages before you click "send" to make sure they are relevant, concise, courteous, and correctly addressed.

Your messages to the list must come from the same e-mail address under which you originally subscribed. If you change your e-mail address, you must unsubscribe using the old address and then re-subscribe using the new one.

Mailing List Courtesy

Participants in the list are asked to ensure that their messages are in plain text format, not in MIME or HTML format. Text format is the shortest and easiest to read. To learn more about the reasons for this request and how to set your e-mail software to send messages is text format, you may visit the following site:

Please avoid attaching files to your messages to the list. If you want to distribute a file, just indicate that people can contact you to get it. If you have some text in a word processor document, please copy the text into the body of an e-mail message rather than attaching it.

If you are going to be away from your e-mail for several weeks, please unsubscribe from the mailing list (and re-subscribe when you get back) rather than sending an "out-of-office autoreply" to everyone's mailbox every time a message is posted to the list.

Subscribing to Ccppp-list

Subscribe to Ccppp-list by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members.

You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
